Bikaner
Bikaner is a city located in the northwest of the state of Rajasthan, India. It is situated 330 kilometers (205 miles) northwest of the state capital, Jaipur. The city was founded by Rao Bika, a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan in 1488 CE and from its small origins it has developed into the fourth largest city in Rajasthan. Bikaner city is the administrative headquarters of Bikaner District and Bikaner division. The city has a population of 644,406 people and covers an area of 270 km² (100 sq mi). The city is known for its Junagarh Fort, Karni Mata Temple, and Gajner Palace. It is also famous for its sand dunes and camel safaris
